Retinol is a highly active ingredient. If you've never used retinol before, you need to gradually get your skin used to it (a process called "retinizing").

Cleanse your face thoroughly in the evening (Step 1: Cleanse).

Apply a pea-sized amount of the cream to a dry (!) face. Avoid the sensitive eye and lip area.

Important: Start with only 2 to 3 applications per week for the first two weeks. If your skin tolerates it well, you can gradually increase the application to every evening.

Since retinol makes the skin more sensitive to light, the daily application of your DAILY PREVENTION sunscreen (Step 3: Protect) the next morning is absolutely essential!
